Processing of personal data – data protection compliance statement

  1. Polskie Towarzystwo Wspierania Przedsiębiorczości S.A. and its subsidiary PTWP-ONLINE Sp. z o.o. operating the registration system and publisher of the websites (hereinafter jointly referred to as: PTWP Group) are the Controllers (Co-controllers) of personal data collected during registration and account creation.

  2. The collected personal data will be processed in order to:
    a. registration for the event, as well as setting up an individual account in the registration system, which will allow you to change the participant's data and access to other services provided by the PTWP Group companies (in the case of persons who have agreed to receive commercial information) or setting up an individual temporary account in the registration system, that will allow accessing services related only to the given event (in the case of persons who have chosen and paid for participation in the Package+ without consenting to receive commercial information),
    b. access granted to the broadcast and rebroadcast of the event,
    c. enable checking the list of participants, making contact and arranging meetings between registered participants of an event with the use of a dedicated on-line communicator (available as an additional service) – only if there is a legal basis for such action,
    d. enable marketing of services and communication between PTWP Group's companies and the participant, in the form of written or electronic correspondence, or with the use of telecommunication devices (phones, text messages) – only if there is a legal basis for doing so,
    e. share data with organisers, partners and sponsors of the event (only if there is a legal basis for doing so) in order to enable them to communicate with the participant or to market their services – in the form of written or electronic correspondence or using telecommunication devices (e.g. telephones, text messages); data of the recipients of the aforementioned data shall be published and updated on an ongoing basis on relevant pages of the event or in information materials,
    f. collect and process statistical data, conduct quality and effectiveness measurements,
    g. handle complaints and secure claims.
  3. The processing of data consisting in collecting, storing and disclosing the data obtained from the registration form is necessary for the performance of a contract or to take action at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract (the purpose stipulated in item 2(a)), and necessary for the fulfilment of the aforementioned legitimate purposes pursued by the aforementioned controllers and data recipients (the other purposes of item 2 above). In the case of certain data or specific types of processing that cannot be considered necessary for the fulfilment of the aforementioned purposes, or in the case of purposes that cannot be considered sufficiently justified – indicated separately at the relevant data box or in the consent statements at the end of the registration form – the processing will also be based on the participant's consent.
  4. The data shall be processed only for the time necessary to fulfil the purposes of the processing, however, not longer than until the time of expressing an appropriate objection to the processing or the withdrawal of consent to the processing.
  5. The person registering and creating an account is entitled to access and correct their data, in particular via the registration system and their account. The registering person may at any time request the rectification, erasure or restriction of the processing of their data; they also have the right to object to the processing in question, the right to withdraw their consent at any time, e.g. by emailing odo@ptwp.pl, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the withdrawal, and the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, under the conditions set out in the relevant legislation.

Organisational Information

In each case the Organiser decides on who has the right to participate in the event.

Participation in the event may be subject to the participant’s consent to receive commercial information from the Organiser. In this case, in order to ensure that such consent is voluntary, the Organiser shall provide for the possibility of registering for the event in exchange for a fee.

In the case of a participant's decision to participate in stationary participation, despite registration for online participation, the information clauses provided for registration for stationary participation will apply.

The above e-mail address must not be used for the purpose of registering for the event; applications sent by e-mail will not be recognised.

Adding a photo is voluntary. If added, the photo will be processed as an element identifying the participant and their individual account in the Organiser's system.

Picture requirements:

  • the picture has to be recent
  • it needs to allow for the verification of the person in the picture
  • there must be no other persons in the picture apart from the registered person
  • the maximum size of the picture is 2MB, and the accepted format is .jpg
